Camper Sardegna Rental Terms
1. Rental Service:
Rental service includes: the motorhome van renting for the days and kilometres agreed on the contract; all insurances (art.3); oil and the other engine liquids; ordinary checks of the vehicle and repairing of damages not due to our customer's negligence. The service does not include: petrol, final cleaning, emptying of the dirty water tank, any fines and fees.
2. Vehicle Use:
Renting of the vehicle is made possible only if this latter has its own insurance contract. The vehicle can be used only as a mean of transportation and dwelling of people. It's forbidden:
a) any form of subcontract;
b) to lend the vehicle to people which are not mentioned in the contract;
c) the use of it to carry out professional or commercial activities such as good, etc
d) towing of vehicles;
e) driving the van if the driver has not physically and psychologically apt to a safe and lawful driving, or if the driver has had his/her driving license for less than two years;
f) to exceed the number of people foreseen on the vehicle license;
g) all drivers must be 21 years old plus.
Any violation of the above terms will imply the loss of the cautionary deposit and the immediate return of the vehicle, it will also imply the payment of any damage caused to the CAMPERSARDEGNA or to a third party, by the customer. The driver must drive our motorhome safely and accordingly to the road rules valid in any country he/she finds himself/herself info. He/She/ also has to use the maximum care in treating the vehicle, to protect the persons and objects present in it.
3. Insurance:
a)The vehicle is insured only during the rental period written on the contract;
b) CAMPERSARDEGNA declines any responsibility towards any damage to the people and objects carried on its vehicles during this period;
c) CAMPERSARDEGNA declines any responsibility arising from false declaration ( about identity, address, inexact documents...) on the part of the customer;
d) the customer must, in case of accident, fill in attentively the appropriate C/D form must then be sent to Campersadegna in not more than 48h. CAMPERSARDEGNA must be telephonically informed as soon as possible about the accident;
e) all vehicles owned by CAMPERSARDEGNA must not be driven in countries not foreseen in the green card.
The vehicles insurance includes: R.C.A. According to the law, grenn card, theft, fire, acts of vandalism and atmospheric events to the extent of 10% ( minimum 1.000,00 euro) and road assistance in case of damage or accident ( excluding: flat tyres and any other damage to the wheels). In case of theft ( even if of parts of the vehicle), of fire or of accident the customer must inform Campersardegna in 48h term, through telegram, fax or e-mail; if not, any damage or loss will be imputed to him/her directly, be it of the CAMPERSARDEGNA vehicle or to a third party. In case of damages caused to a third party or to its belongings, the customer must fill in attentively in all its parts, the statement of facts, that must then be signed by the counterpart. In all other cases the customer must call for the authority (e.g. Polizia,, Carabinieri...) intervention and verify that all people involved, witnesses and car number plates of the vehicles involved, be written on their reports. The customer must also require a copy of the police report and send it to CAMPERSARDEGNA in 48h time from the accident.
4. Responsibilities:
a) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for all the deficiencies, damages or other vices which are not reported in the delivery form that must be filled in by the customer together with a Campersardegna member of the staff.
b) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for inconveniences deriving from unvolunteer delays or mechanical breakdowns, interruptions or delays of the journey due to illnesses, natural calamities, strikes, wars, bed weather, quarantine, etc.
c) in case of forced interruption of the journey, the customer must inform promptly CAMPERSARDEGNA in 24hrs time, so that they will provide the retrieval of the vehicle. All expenses will be on the customer.
d) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for inconveniences or involuntary delays of the vehicles delivery though attributable to its agents or personal. The customer must pay the entire rental period even in case of accidents, illnesses, natural calamities, wars, etc.
e) CAMPERSARDEGNA is not responsible for accidents or injuries suffered by the customer, resulting from the rental of its vehicles.
5. Rental period:
The rental period cannot be modified unless agreed with CAMPERSARDEGNA at least 48hrs before its end. Any delay that has not been authorized will be subjected to the application of a quadruple fare with respect to that applied at the moment of renting.
Note that Pick up and drop off before 8:00 am and after 9:00 pm is upon agreement and will be charged 70 euro.
6. Booking and Payments:
To confirm one's booking, a non refundable booking deposit is required to secure your motorhome booking . The exact amount is detailed in the breakdown of pricing. An amount corresponding to a 30% of the entire sum, must be paid up on booking confirmation, otherwise the booking won't be valid. The rest of the amount must be paid the first day of rental together with the cautionary deposit. The payment of eventual damages, will be paid at the end of the renting period through a deduction on a deposit.
7. Cancellation Policy:
Renunciation In case of renunciation of a previously confirmed rental, the initial deposit paid is non-refundable. But total rental cost(except the initial deposit) will be returned only if the renounce is communicated via mail or fax at least 33 days before the first day of rental. On the contrary, CAMPERSARDEGNA will keep the 30% as a penalty clause. Any rental of the CAMPERSARDEGNA is subjected to a caution deposit of 1.000,00 Euro as reported in the rental proposal.
This amount will be returned to the customer after a complete check of the vehicle is done and about 20 days from its cautionary deposit of 1.000,00 Euro. CAMPERSARDEGNA can vary the day of the rental beginning in case of breakdowns of its vehicles or even under circumstances beyond its control. If the delay is of more than 48hrs, the customer might have his/her deposit back and contract can be cancelled. No other refunding is to be expected by the customer from CAMPERSARDEGNA. No refunding or reductions have to be expected in case of anticipated deliveries of any vehicle if not previously agreed with CAMPERSARDEGNA.
8. At One's Expense:
All expense due to any transfer of the vehicle to other states, (due) to obtaining authorizations, documents, temporary imports/exports of everything is in the motorhome, included all camping equipment supplied by CAMPERSARDEGNA, is at the customer's own expense.
9. Repairs:
If any repair, not due to the customer's negligence, might be necessary during a rental period, the customer himself/herself can provide for it if the cost doesn't exceed 100,00 Euro. For repairs exceeding this value the customer presentation of the relative invoice registered in CAMPERSARDEGNA's name, via di la Tanca snc cap 08020 – Montepetrosu – San Teodoro (OT) P.IVA 02270170208
10. Vehicle's Redelivery:
When returned the vehicle must be cleaned, cleared of all personal belongings, with the same petrol quantity it had the first day of rent; with service and wc tanks clean and emptied. If not a penal of 100,00 Euro will be applied. The customer is responsible for all the accessories and equipment in the vehicle. In case of loss or damage of any, he/she will have to pay for it. Smoking is forbidden in all vehicles; if when redelivered it smells of cigarettes or similar, the customer will have to pay 50,00 Euro for the anti-smoke treatment.
11.Final regular cleaning: 50 euro/ Final deep cleaning: 90 euro
This contract is ruled by Italian laws and any controversy will be under the jurisdiction of the Court of Olbia (OT).

We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.

In case of theft ( even if of parts of the vehicle), of fire or of accident the customer must inform Campersardegna in 48h term, through telegram, fax or e-mail; if not, any damage or loss will be imputed to him/her directly, be it of the CAMPERSARDEGNA vehicle or to a third party. In case of damages caused to a third party or to its belongings, the customer must fill in attentively in all its parts, the statement of facts, that must then be signed by the counterpart. In all other cases the customer must call for the authority (e.g. Polizia,, Carabinieri...) intervention and verify that all people involved, witnesses and car number plates of the vehicles involved, be written on their reports. The customer must also require a copy of the police report and send it to CAMPERSARDEGNA in 48h time from the accident.
Responsibilities:
a) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for all the deficiencies, damages or other vices which are not reported in the delivery form that must be filled in by the customer together with a Campersardegna member of the staff.
b) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for inconveniences deriving from unvolunteer delays or mechanical breakdowns, interruptions or delays of the journey due to illnesses, natural calamities, strikes, wars, bed weather, quarantine, etc.
c) in case of forced interruption of the journey, the customer must inform promptly CAMPERSARDEGNA in 24hrs time, so that they will provide the retrieval of the vehicle. All expenses will be on the customer.
d) CAMPERSARDEGNA will not be responsible for inconveniences or involuntary delays of the vehicles delivery though attributable to its agents or personal. The customer must pay the entire rental period even in case of accidents, illnesses, natural calamities, wars, etc.
e) CAMPERSARDEGNA is not responsible for accidents or injuries suffered by the customer, resulting from the rental of its vehicles.
